Campania Markets & Producers

Market streets and farm shops offer two different ways to meet the region’s ingredients. Plan the visit that fits your route.

Pignasecca · A neighbourhood morning

The streets around Via Pignasecca combine food shops and stalls near Montesanto. Go for ordinary shopping life and a look at seasonal produce, then leave time for your chosen lunch. The mix of open stalls changes; this is not a fixed tasting tour or a guarantee of daily hours.

San Paolo · A separate farmers’ market trip

Campagna Amica lists the covered San Paolo market at Via Beniamino Guidetti 72, Fuorigrotta, Naples. It is outside the historic-centre walk. Check with the organiser before travelling: the listing includes older calendar details, so we do not treat those hours as a current promise.

Dairies, pasta makers and countryside stops

Ask a dairy about appointments and storage before planning a visit around fresh cheese. Gragnano can be a separate pasta-focused outing; do not assume that a working factory admits visitors. Inland, book a farm meal or producer experience directly and arrange the journey home.

Shop with a plan

  • Ask before touching produce or taking close photographs of a stall.
  • Check whether a displayed amount is per item, portion or kilogram.
  • Carry fresh products according to the maker’s instructions and your travel conditions.
  • Take home something that will fit your luggage and your own kitchen.
