This chapter explores Trentino, the province of Trento within Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol. South Tyrol has its own towns and food traditions; it is not folded into this Trentino route.

Start with Trento’s squares and a local lunch. Choose another day for apple country, the Garda shore, vineyard towns or an Alpine valley. These are separate directions, not one rushed circuit.
